Spring is here! And so is our newsletter!

In the last couple of weeks, all of our patients should have received our bi-annual newsletter. We have some fun announcements in there, like introducing Dr. Leah Hollaway (yay!) and our new staff members. There is also some informative, educational articles on how to best take care of your and your family's teeth!

We hope you enjoy this issue of Sharing Smiles Daily!

Tooth Day Tuesday!

We are so excited to be joining the Rahny Taylor Morning Show every Tuesday for Tooth Day Tuesday! We will be talking about what Sharing Smiles means to us, how we think every patient (person!) deserves to be treated and how YOU can take care of your teeth at home!

We hope you tune in to hear us every Tuesday and in case you missed this morning, here is a link to our Marketing Director (also Dr. Wilk's daughter!), Erin, talking with Rahny and his team.

Happy TOOTH DAY TUESDAY, everyone!

Free Oral Cancer Screenings

In celebration of Oral Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Wilk will be providing FREE Oral Cancer Screenings on Wednesday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Community members are welcome to stop in at their convenience to take advantage of this FREE screening and take a positive step in their oral and overall health.

Oral Cancer Screenings will consist of an exam of your neck, jaw, tongue and the inside of your mouth. Dr. Wilk will also use a Velscope which is special light that can show abnormal cells in the mouth that are often times not visible to the naked eye. Exams will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Each exam will be 5 to 10 minutes long.

So, stop in on April 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a FREE Oral Cancer Screening, or if you've been in recently and had your screening at your preventative visit, please tell your friends!

Join us for our 7th Annual Sharing Smiles Event!

This Saturday, March 25th, marks our 7th annual Sharing Smiles Event! This is a day where our entire staff volunteers and provides free dental care to community members in need and without means. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and we will see patients on a first come, first serve basis from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Treatment will be determined on an individual basis by the provider but exams, cleanings, fillings and extractions will be offered.

We are also taking both cash and canned good donations for the Hartford Food Pantry. Community members can drop off their Food Pantry donations any time this week during normal business hours or anytime on Saturday. It's just one way you can be a part of our Sharing Smiles mission!

We hope to see you this Saturday as we host this wonderful event again!
